This product utilizes 60 GHz radar to sense the millimeter-wave signals reflected by the human body. Combined with advanced detection algorithms, it realizes the perception of human presence and human movement. It continuously records the presence of the human body. Based on the changes in the amplitude of body movements and the changes in respiratory and heart rates during sleep, it makes real-time judgments on the target’s sleep state, respiratory, and heart rates. After a sleep session ends, it outputs a sleep score. It has the characteristics of safety, stability, strong anti-interference ability, and non-invasion of privacy. It can be widely applied in scenarios such as homes, hotels, apartments, and community elderly care. Event information is transmitted, and device parameters are set via Cat.1 wireless network.

1. Installation Instructions
The product can be fixed using 2 screws or attached with 3M adhesive tape.
For optimal radar detection accuracy, it is recommended to install the device above the bedhead at a 45° downward tilt!
The radar should be tilted at an angle of 30–45° and mounted above the bedhead.
Recommended installation height: 0.8–1 meters above the bed surface to ensure the main radar beam covers the detection area.
2. Detection Range
(1) The radar beam coverage is shown in the diagram below. It forms a three-dimensional fan-shaped area with:
Horizontal angle: 40°
Vertical (elevation) angle: 40°
(2) Due to the radar’s installation height and beam range, the maximum detection distances in this setup are:
Human presence detection (L₃): ~2.5 meters
Sleep detection (L₂): ~2.5 meters
Breathing/heart rate detection (L₁): ~1.5 meters

Note: “L₃, L₂, L₁” are kept as variables for consistency with the original document. Adjustments can be made if preferred (e.g., “D₃, D₂, D₁”).
3. Product Actual Installation Step Instructions
Step 1: Determine the main activity and stop-stay area of the human body (above the bedside in the sleeping area). The installation position of the radar is 1m directly above the bedside.
Step 2: Tilt the radar’s main activity angle downward by 45 degrees to ensure that the radar’s detection range can normally cover the rest area.
Step 3: Confirm whether there are interference sources within the radar’s detection range and remove any interference sources that may affect it.
Step 4: Confirm the final installation position according to the above steps and start normal use.
4. Operation Instructions
A. Power-on Initialization and Self-check
(1) After connecting the power source, the red light, green light, and yellow light flash once, then the red light flashes once again, and the green light stays on. The device enters the initialization and self-check process internally. (2) If the device itself and the Cat.1 network connection are normal, the green light flashes to enter the signal strength indication state. For specific display, refer to the status display reference table. (3) If there is a self-check problem, the red light flashes to enter the fault display state. For specific display, refer to the status display reference table. (4) After the device successfully accesses the cloud platform, the indicator light goes out, and it enters the normal working state.
B. Parameter Setting
After the device is powered on and set by the platform remote control, the equipment installation and initialization self-check are completed. Then, parameter settings need to be carried out according to actual needs. (1) Data upload cycle: used to regularly upload and update the device status; unit: minutes, default: 120 minutes, value range: 3 – 65535 minutes. (2) Device restart: used to restart the device. (3) Human body presence unmanned alarm function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (4) Human body presence human alarm function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (5) Out – of – bed reminder function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (6) In-bed reminder function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (7) Abnormal heart rate alarm function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (8) Abnormal heart rate alarm lower limit setting value: when the heart rate is lower than this setting value, it is judged that an abnormal heart rate occurs. It needs to be lower than the upper limit setting value; default: 60, value range: 50 – 120. (9) Abnormal heart rate alarm upper limit setting value: when the heart rate is higher than this setting value, it is judged that an abnormal heart rate occurs; default: 110, value range: 50 – 120. (10) Abnormal breathing alarm function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (11) Abnormal struggling alarm function switch: when in the open state, the alarm information will be reported; default: open. (12) Sleep report function switch: when in the open state, the sleep report information will be reported; default: open.
C. Human body presence function test
When someone enters the human body presence detection area, the red light flashes once to indicate that someone is present; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the human body leaves the human body presence detection area and reaches the unattended time value, the red light flashes once to indicate that no one is present; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
D. In – bed and out – of – bed reminder function test
When the human body enters the bed, the red light flashes once to indicate that an in-bed event has occurred; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the human body leaves the bed and reaches 30 seconds, the red light flashes once to indicate that an out-of-bed event has occurred; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
E. Abnormal heart rate alarm function test
When the human body’s heart rate is lower than the abnormal heart rate lower limit setting value or higher than the upper limit setting value, the red light flashes once to indicate that an abnormal heart rate alarm event has occurred; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the human body heart rate is greater than the abnormal heart rate lower limit setting value and less than the upper limit setting value, the red light flashes once to indicate that the abnormal heart rate alarm has recovered; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
F. Abnormal breathing alarm function test
When the human body breathing value is less than 10 or higher than 25, the red light flashes once to indicate that an abnormal breathing alarm event has occurred; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the human body breathing value is between 10 and 25, the red light flashes once to indicate that the abnormal breathing alarm has recovered; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
G. Abnormal struggling alarm function test
When the human body is in a struggling situation, the red light flashes once to indicate that an abnormal struggling alarm event has occurred; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the human body is normal, the red light flashes once to indicate that the abnormal struggling alarm has recovered; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
H. Sleep report function test
When the human body falls asleep, the red light flashes once every 10 minutes to indicate the sleep-related state; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When the sleep ends, the red light flashes once to indicate the post-sleep analysis report; the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful. When sending data to the platform, press the device’s up and down buttons, and the green light flashes once to indicate that the data upload is successful.
Important Notes
As a non-contact device, the radar must first lock onto the target’s position before detecting and calculating respiratory and heartbeat signals. Targets should remain stationary within the effective detection range during monitoring, as continuous movement may disrupt target locking and compromise vital sign detection accuracy.
The effective detection range may vary depending on the target’s RCS (Radar Cross Section) and environmental conditions. Fluctuations in detection distance are normal and expected.
Human biological signals are ultra-low frequency with weak reflections. The radar requires extended processing time to accumulate these signals, during which various factors may temporarily affect performance. Occasional detection failures are normal operational characteristics.
Do not use this product in areas with no signal or poor signal strength, as this may impair functionality.
