Installation and Operation Instructions
1. Product IMEI Registration on Cloud Platform: Scan the code or enter the IMEI directly via the APP, or PC management terminal to add the device to the cloud platform. Operations may vary by platform. This can be completed by the manufacturer before shipment, centrally by engineers, or on-site. Refer to the cloud platform operation manual.
2. On-Site Installation and Testing:
1. Insert the NB-IoT card (choose Unicom, Telecom, or Mobile based on local signal strength; skip for other communication modes).
2. Power on by plugging in the power supply.
3. Self-check process: After power-up, the red light turns on to indicate power activation, and the device enters self-check.
4. Normal Operation: Indicates local signal strength in four levels:
o Poor signal: Single red light flashes once every 1 minute.
o Moderate signal: Single red light flashes twice, repeated three times.
o Good signal: Single red light flashes three times, repeated three times.
o Excellent signal: Single red light flashes four times, repeated three times. Install the device at the optimal
signal location.
5. Fault Indications:
o NB-IoT Communication:
o Full-circle red light flashes 1x: NB module fault.
o Full-circle red light flashes 2x: NB card fault (check format, activation, or contact).
o Full-circle red light flashes 3x: Failed to connect to the base station (no internet access).
o Full-circle red light flashes 4x: Communication Failure with the platform (usually an identity
verification issue).
o Lora Communication:
o Red light flashes 2x: Module fault.
o Red light flashes 3x: Failed to join the network (possibly due to distance from the gateway, unpowered gateway, or unregistered device on the platform).
6. Alarm Test/Cancel: Press the button to test alarms (no alarm active) or cancel current alarms (alarm active).
7. Alarm Duration Adjustment: Default is 30s.
o First press: Display current duration (red light flashes:
1x=30s, 2x=5min, 3x=15min, 4x=30min).
o Second press: Switch to the next duration (cycles after 30min).
8. Volume Adjustment: Increase/decrease volume step-by-step via buttons (can also test functionality).
9. Heartbeat Interval Setting: Configurable via the platform.
10. Communication Failure: Red light flashes 3x every 1 hour.
