High and low temperature threshold alarm function: When the temperature reaches the warning range, the device will push high and low temperature warning information to the cloud. The default high-temperature warning value is set at 40°C, the fire warning value is set at 60°C, and the low – low-temperature warning value is set at – 5°C; and it supports users to define high and low temperature thresholds by themselves.
Humidity threshold alarm function: When the humidity reaches the warning range, the device will push humidity warning information to the cloud, and it supports users to define humidity thresholds by themselves.
Heartbeat function: The heartbeat time can be configured, and it has a communication disconnection indication when the link is lost.
Indication function: It has module signal strength indication, module signal transmission indication, and product self-inspection indication.
Alarm function: It has module fault indication, SIM card fault alarm, module signal transmission failure alarm, connection failure alarm between the device and the operator’s base station, communication failure alarm between the device and the operator’s service platform, and low-voltage alarm function.
Timing reporting: It supports periodic reporting, so that the cloud can grasp the device’s online status. Users can set the device reporting cycle according to actual needs and check the device status regularly.
Data recording: This device supports the data recording function. It records 96 data points every day, starting from zero o’clock every day, recording temperature and humidity data at 15-minute intervals. When reporting periodically every day, it will push the relevant recorded data; it can support the hardware to cache temperature and humidity data for up to 7 days; and it supports the function of data retention during power outages.
Local LCD display function: It can display parameters such as time, battery capacity, IoT signal strength, temperature, and humidity locally.

Register the product IMEI code on the cloud platform. You can scan the code or directly input the IMEI code through the WeChat mini-program, APP, or the PC management terminal of the platform. Add the device to the cloud platform. Different cloud platforms have different operation modes. This work can be completed when the product leaves the factory, centrally completed by the engineering contractor, or completed on-site during installation. Refer to the operation instructions of the cloud platform.
On-site installation and testing
(1) Insert the SIM card. If the product has a built-in SIM card, skip this step. If there is no SIM card installed in the product, open the battery card cover, remove the battery, and install the SIM card.
(2) Power on: Remove the battery insulation sheet to start the power supply.
(3) Product self-inspection: After the power is turned on, the product immediately enters the inspection state. At this time, the red light turns on, indicating that the power is started. Then the green light stays on, and the product enters the self-inspection process.
(4) If the product itself is normal and the communication is normal, the product will enter the signal strength display state. The signal strength is divided into four levels. If the signal is very poor, the yellow light will flash continuously for 1 minute. If the signal strength is average, the green light will flash continuously 2 times, repeated 3 times. If the signal strength is good, the green light will flash continuously 3 times, repeated 3 times. If the signal strength is very good, the green light will flash continuously 4 times, repeated 3 times. When installing the product, try to find the best signal point for installation. When the signal is poor, the product’s power consumption will increase significantly.
(5) If the product self-inspection finds problems, the red light will flash continuously to prompt. One red light flash indicates a module failure. Two red light flashes indicate a SIM card failure. Check the SIM card’s system-related issues, such as whether it is properly inserted and activated. Three red light flashes indicate that the connection between the module and the operator’s base station has failed, and the device cannot access the Internet. Four red light flashes indicate a communication failure between the module and the operator’s service platform. Generally, it is an identity recognition problem.
(6) After the product’s power – on self – inspection and indication are completed, the product enters the normal operation state. The main operation functions are as follows:
a. Short-press the function button to obtain the current ambient temperature and humidity data; long-press the function button to push the temperature and humidity data to the cloud.
b. The LCD display screen normally shows the signal strength, battery capacity, local time, local temperature, and local humidity. (When the device cannot obtain the time from the network, the time cannot be displayed.)

e. Timing reporting: It supports periodic reporting, so that the cloud can grasp the device’s online status. Users can set the device reporting cycle according to actual needs and check the device status regularly.
f. Reporting of temperature and humidity changes: It supports the platform to set a certain value for temperature and humidity changes, and then upload the temperature and humidity data. (For Cat.1 model)
(7) If the module communication fails or loses connection with the platform, the signal display icon on the display screen will flash continuously.
(8) When the battery is low, it will notify the cloud platform that the battery is low and prompt to replace the battery. At the same time, the green light will flash 3 times and then flash once every hour.
