Description

This product can be widely used on various doors, windows, and safes to detect the open/close status of doors/windows or whether relative displacement occurs between two objects. It is extensively used for door/window detection in quarantine sites, residential homes, banks, museums, prisons, schools, offices, base stations, etc. It can also be installed on safes or fixed objects for detection.

Installation and Operation Instructions

1. Register Product IMEI on Cloud Platform

Use WeChat mini-program, APP, or PC management platform to scan the QR code or directly input the IMEI code. Add the device to the cloud platform (operation varies by platform). This step can be completed by the manufacturer before shipment, centrally by the installer, or on-site during installation. Refer to the cloud platform operation manual.

2. On-site Installation and Testing of Door/Window Contact

1) Open the Back Cover

Hold the Door Magnet Positive and press the back cover slightly, then slide it downwards to disengage.

2) Insert NB SIM Card

Press the metal clip on the SIM card slot, slide it open, insert the NB SIM card, then press the metal clip again and slide it back.

3) Power On

Remove the insulating tab from the battery positive terminal.

4) Product Self-Test Process

After power-on, the product immediately enters a check state. The red LED lights up, indicating power is on. Then the green LED stays on steadily while the product performs internal self-checks.

5) NB Signal Strength Indication

If the product itself and NB communication are normal, it enters NB signal strength display mode. Signal strength has four levels:

• If signal is poor, the yellow LED blinks for 1 minute.

• If signal is average, the green LED blinks twice continuously, repeated 3 times.

• If signal is good, the green LED blinks three times continuously, repeated 3 times.

• If signal is excellent, the green LED blinks four times continuously, repeated 3 times.

Try to install the product at a location with optimal NB signal. Product functionality will be significantly improved when signal is poor.

6) Self-Test Fault Indication

If a problem is found during self-test, the red LED blinks continuously:

• 1 blink indicates NB module fault.

• 2 blinks indicate NB SIM card fault (check card type, activation, or poor contact).

• 3 blinks indicate failure to connect to the operator’s base station (cannot access network).

• 4 blinks indicate communication fault with the operator’s service platform (usually an identity authentication issue).

7) Test Tamper Switch

Trigger the tamper switch. The red LED blinks once, indicating the tamper switch is functioning normally.

8) Test Door/Window Contact Function

Trigger the door magnet with the negative magnet. The red LED blinks once, indicating the alarm function is normal.

9) Complete Testing & Final Assembly

After testing, using the 3M adhesive or provided accessories, align the inner edge of the Door Magnet Positive bottom with the protruding cover alignment post on the lower middle part of the base shell, then place the top cover and slide it downwards to close the product. Installation is successful. Refer to the diagram.

10) Post-Installation Operation

After installing the product, the tamper switch and door/window contact automatically enter normal operation mode (tamper switch closes within 58mm, Door Magnet Positive approaches within 58mm or closer). If triggered, the red LED blinks once, indicating an alarm trigger. The green LED blinks once, indicating NB communication transmission.

11) NB Communication/Platform Connection Failure

If NB communication fails or connection to the platform is lost, the red LED blinks three times, repeating every 1 hour.

12) Low Battery Warning

When the battery voltage is low, it notifies the cloud platform and prompts for battery replacement. Simultaneously, the door/window contact green LED blinks three times, repeating every 1 hour.

Precautions

1. This product uses a low-power design. When restarting, ensure the power-off duration exceeds 20 seconds before reapplying power to allow the CPU to reset properly.

2. When closing the back cover, follow the manual’s instructions carefully. Avoid using excessive force.

3. Metal doors/windows may affect both the door magnet signal and communication signal. Please be aware during use.

4. If the product will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery.

5. Lithium-thionyl chloride (Li-SOCl₂) batteries are high-performance batteries. Absolutely avoid contact with open flames or water, and prevent physical impacts. There is a risk of explosion. Do not operate improperly.
